WAP Application Instructions


If you meet the basic eligibility requirements for the Oregon Weatherization Assistance Program (WAP), you should go ahead and apply for participation in the program.

Upon successful completion of the application process, you will start enjoying the program benefits. It should however be noted that Oregon WAP, does not provide direct monetary benefits, rather it only implements energy efficiency measures in the homes of participating households.


Eligibility Requirements

Oregon Weatherization Assistance Program (WAP) - Residential Eligibility Requirements

Applicants for the Oregon Weatherization Assistance Program (WAP) must be residents of the state of Oregon and US nationals or registered legal aliens.

Participation in Other Social Service Programs

Applicants for the Oregon Weatherization Assistance Program (WAP), who are currently participating in other social service programs such as SSI, TANF, LIHEAP and AID for families with children, are considered automatically eligible for the program. This stems from the fact that these programs have similar eligibility requirements to the Oregon Weatherization Assistance Program.
