WAP Application Instructions


To apply for Florida WAP, you will have to visit your local Weatherization provider. The applications are not available online. You can find a list of Weatherization providers for each country using this link.

Although you can't apply online, you can still download an application online. You will need to complete it, and attach necessary documents, along with the application before sending it to your local Weatherization provider. You can download the application here.


Eligibility Requirements


To qualify for Florida WAP benefits, applicants will have to meet the following program requirements.

  • You must be a U.S citizen or a qualified alien

  • You must be a resident of state of Florida

  • You must meet income guidelines or qualify for automatic eligibility

Automatic eligibility

Households receiving benefits through the following programs will automatically qualify to receive Florida WAP benefits. These programs include

  • Supplemental Security Income (SSI)

  • Temporary Assistance for Needy Families (TANF)

  • Aid to Families with Dependent Children

Households will have to meet the following income eligibility guidelines to receive Weatherization benefits in Florida.
